Doctor’s Wife Sentenced For Keying Pro-Palestinian Protesters’ Cars

A Scottsdale woman, Lisa Karlovsky, who vandalized multiple cars belonging to Pro-Palestinian protesters, has been sentenced to probation.

In January 2024, a group was protesting an event at a synagogue in Phoenix. Surveillance video showed Karlovsky and a man, Bryan Long, defacing cars while walking up and down the street. They scratched derogatory messages into some of the cars such as “murderer” and “rapist,” along with the Star of David. Altogether more than ten cars were vandalized, causing nearly $45,000 in damage.

Karlovsky pleaded guilty to one count of Criminal Damage, a Class Four Felony. She was sentenced to 18 months of supervised probation.

In December, Long was sentenced to 12 months of supervised probation after pleading guilty to one count of Criminal Damage.

“We’re lucky to live in a country where we’re free to disagree and hold different beliefs. But when those differences lead someone to cross over into breaking the law, they will be held accountable,” said Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell.

  1. it wasn’t a car bomb – mass shooting at a temple – killing of athletes in competition – bombing and taking hostages – burning TESLAs – “They” the Pro-Palestinian protesters, were at the temple? to harass temple goers ? What was their sentence for interfering with worship meeting? Its obvious that’s why they were where they were. It’s a two way street.

    • It is a two-way street. Unless we want to end up like Jolly ‘Ol England, where men and women can be arrested for silently praying in front of abortion clinics, we need to protect the rights of those we despise so that we too may exercise those same rights.

      Now, if the protestors were using force, threats, or physical obstructions to prevent anyone from entering or leaving the synagogue, then, yes, absolutely charge them with the relevant statutes, but if it’s not sticks or stones …
