
A previously deported illegal alien shot an off-duty Border Patrol agent in the face during a robbery at a New York City park on Saturday.
Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez, a national and citizen of the Dominican Republic, re-entered the U.S. on April 4, 2023 and was apprehended by Border Patrol at San Luis, AZ. He was released at the time due to Boden administration’s “catch-and-release policy.”

Mora Nunez has a criminal warrant in Massachusetts for kidnapping and had been charged with a series of offenses.
