Phoenix Police detectives are investigating an overnight shooting that left multiple people injured.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on December 28, 2025, at around 2:15 a.m., officers responded to the area of 1st Street and Washington Street regarding a shooting call. When officers arrived, they found a total of four adults with at least one gunshot wound each. All were transported to nearby hospitals, with one adult male being listed in critical condition.
The other three victims, all adult females, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives worked around the clock on this investigation, leading to the identification of the suspect in this case, 22-year-old Keon Joubert. Joubert was located and arrested on December 29, 2025. He has been booked on multiple felony charges related to this investigation, to include aggravated assault.
