Kelly Accused of Hypocrisy for “White Guys” Comment

Between 2011 to 2016, Mark Kelly was paid to speak in the United States and China on behalf of a Chinese multi-level marketing company that sells nutritional supplements.

Over the weekend, Senator Mark Kelly was called out for perceived hypocrisy when he said that “the last thing he would want” in a space shuttle crew would be “seven White guys.”

Kelly called such a team “a disaster.”

One popular influencer, Robby Starbuck, responded to Kelly’s comment on X.com, “Sometimes people can’t tell if Democrats are outright lying or if they actually believe this stuff… So let me drop in a photo of Mark Kelly’s crew on the STS-134 space mission. 6 White guys. Majority pilots. Mission was a success. So yeah, he knows what he’s saying is bullshit.”

According to HotAir.com, Kelly argued that diversity considerations strengthen America’s military and said it was something he sought in his crew during the space shuttle missions he commanded in a 30-minute conversation April 11 with the Rev. Al Sharpton.

His comment about “white guys” isn’t the only instance of hypocrisy he has shown in the wake of the recent successful Artemis II mission.

While he praised the Artemis II mission, he voted against the measure that provided the funding for it and future endeavors.

  1. Kelly cannot possibly embarass himself more than he did in the past. He is not just a shame to AZ but a liability. When will voters rise and demand his resignation? If the don’t why? Do they agree with him?

  2. IMO this guy is a flake. Oh wait, we already had a Flake in Arizona acting as a Republican senator. Kelly is a TDS leftist liberal seditionist acting as senator. Not much hope in either case for the people of Arizona.

  3. I don’t think he deserves his AZ senate seat, and while I strongly disapprove of his Democratic party’s leadership and policies over gun-control, immigration, abortion, DEI, and public ed, calling him out for this minor remark is a waste of digital ink. If you want to dump him, you’ll have to aim higher.

    • Arizonans do not have the will or the guts to demand his resignation. He is the sacred one, the “astronaut”; he cannot do wrong. I called this out when he was nominated by the Democrats. They knew that Kelly cannot ever be removed and will be reelected no matter what because of his false but revered status.

  4. I hope all the old, moss-back AZ GOPers who thought this pedantic Tucson-Clown-AHole hung the Moon, because he was a chest-thumping Navy pilot (like that colossal dullard Martha McSally & maniac Johnny-Warball-McCain) have all learned their lessons. Not only has Mark Kelly TORCHED HIS OWN REPUTATION & ARIZONA’S as well, there is no way this guy will ever bring home the bacon ($$$) for the state. Ain’t happening.

  5. He is a total idiot playing to the individual who
he thinks will benefit his political career. Just a
total loser. Is trying to survive local democraps
politicians that he is one of them. Everything he
has is die to WIFE not him. Scammed the locals
out of millions with his chinese affiliated hot
air balloon try. Guy is a toal ass and loser

  6. There is an insurmountable gulf between opposing descrimination based on color/gender and diversity for diversity’s sake. What CPT Kelly said was nothing less that racist and misandrist. If the A Team, who is the best of the best without regard to color or creed, includes men and women of varying and various “races” then so be it, and if it is monotonously homogenous, then so be it. But I bet you this, he’s not strapping his precious little tuckus on top of 535,000 gallons of liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen with the C, D, E, or F Team because they constitute the ‘proper’ mosaic according to contemporary political fashion. Typical Democrat hypocrisy and mendacity for all the world to see and remember.

  7. Barak Obama allegedly floated the idea of Kelly as president. At least one person (Kelly) thought he was serious.

  8. I am sure he would like to go into space with a crew of DEI hired astronauts, what a hypocritical dunce. I am ashamed to say he is our senator.

  9. The Dems promote and use fear, hate and racism for votes. It’s truly evil. Sick. Sad.
