Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash on I-10 Off-Ramp in Phoenix

A 22-year-old man is dead after a single-vehicle crash on an Interstate 10 off-ramp in Phoenix early Saturday morning.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, at approximately 2:45 a.m., officers responded to the area of 3rd Street and Moreland Street for a single vehicle collision. When officers arrived, they located an adult male, later identified as 22-year-old Cory Doberstein, in critical condition.

The Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene and transported Doberstein to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Detectives believe that Doberstein was traveling westbound on the 3rd Street I-10 Off ramp when he collided with the barrier wall. Impairment in this crash has not yet been determined. Speed is believed to have been a contributing factor.
