WASHINGTON – Arizona’s congressional delegation reacted to the first day of the Senate’s impeachment trial of President Donald Trump. With the exception of Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick, who is on leave for alcohol addiction treatment, none of the Democrat members posted about the trial on social media.
Republicans however, were quite active:
As a former prosecutor, I condemn @senatemajldr‘s management of the trial of @realDonaldTrump This trial must be conducted like every other trial in the US, and allow for new evidence and witness testimony. #DefendOurDemocracy pic.twitter.com/JyAd4YhOtj

Democrats are complaining how they aren’t getting enough time.
Then maybe they shouldn’t have sat on these articles for an entire month after doing a complete rush job in the House.
It’s not the Senate’s fault House Democrats can’t make their case.

No matter how hard Democrats try, facts have never changed:
1. Transcripts show no quid pro quo;
2. Ukrainian officials say no quid pro quo;
3. Ukrainians weren’t aware of withheld aid on 7/25;
4. 1sthand witnesses say no quid pro quo;
5. Aid given to Ukraine w/o investigations. pic.twitter.com/RrGB6q2xO2— Rep Andy Biggs (@RepAndyBiggsAZ) January 22, 2020
At some point, justice demands that the president – and indeed, the American people – receive relief from three years of incessant attacks by Democratic zealots who simply refuse to accept that @realDonaldTrump is the president of the United States. https://t.co/FtxtitCXUn

Ukraine received U.S. aid in conformity with the law;
the aid was received without any preconditions other than those required by law.Withholding of aid is not unprecedented – it's been done before as President @realDonaldTrump's attorney, @JaySekulow, highlights. pic.twitter.com/afk13bYti3

Both of Arizona’s senators were silent.
