Teen Brothers Indicted For Drive-By Shootings In Maricopa County

Two brothers, 17-year-old John Paul Camacho Barron and 15-year-old Andrew Soto Barron, have been indicted for their participation in multiple drive-by shootings across Maricopa County.

Both brothers are minors and are being charged as adults.

The shootings occurred in the early morning hours of June 12, 2025, and June 13, 2025, and involved several homes.

John Paul Camacho Baron is charged with the following:

  • Three Counts of Discharge of a Firearm at a Structure, a Class Two Felony
  • One Count of Discharge of a Firearm at a Structure, a Class Three Felony
  • Four Counts of Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm, a Class Six Felony
  • One Count of Drive-By Shooting, a Class Two Felony
  • One Count of Unlawful use of Means of Transportation, a Class Six Felony

Andrew Soto Barron is charged with the following:

  • Three Counts of Discharge of a Firearm at a Structure, a Class Two Felony
  • One Count of Discharge of a Firearm at a Structure, a Class Three Felony
  • Four Counts of Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm, a Class Six Felony
  • One Count of Drive-By Shooting, a Class Two Felony
  • One Count of Theft of Means of Transportation, a Class Three Felony

A trial date has been set in November 2025 for both cases.
