Two men were arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Zariah Finley Dodd and her unborn child, in Phoenix last month.
One of the suspects, 36-year-old Jurrell Davis, is the unborn child’s father.
Dodd was pregnant for approximately 22 weeks with a daughter at the time she was shot and killed.
18-year-old Jechri James-Gillett conspired with Jurrell Davis to commit and carried out the homicide.
Both suspects were booked on charges related to the investigation. Specifically, James-Gillett was booked for murder, while Davis was booked for murder and sexual misconduct with a minor.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on July 5, 2025, at approximately 5:58 a.m., officers responded to the area of 55th Avenue and Osborn Road regarding an unknown trouble. When officers arrived, they located Dodd with an apparent gunshot wound. The Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene and pronounced her deceased.
A 36yo gets a 16yo pregnant, then murders her and his own child? Stretching rope is the only just course of action.
Castrate him and then use shooting squad….thats fair…ya think?
As always, the death penalty for both of them. Carried out at sunset, the day after sentencing. That is the solution.

It seems like there is much more to this story with the 36 year old who has and 18 year old coconspirator and has been sexually involved with a 16> year old.
Wow, just wow……what the hell can you say about people like this. The 36 year old impregnated a 16 year old and then killed her. How in the hell do these people survive in the real world. Hopefully these two will never see the light of day as a freemen, ever.
