Man Indicted for Stabbing a Mother and Her Teen Daughters

A Maricopa County grand jury has indicted Lowell Dorn for stabbing a mother and her two daughters multiple times in their Mesa apartment.

Dorn is charged with the following:

  • Two counts of Attempt to Commit First Degree Murder, a Class Two Dangerous Felony
  • One count of Burglary in the First Degree, a Class Two Dangerous Felony
  • One count of Aggravated Assault, a Class Three Dangerous Felony
  • Lowell is currently being held on a $2 million cash only bond, which means he must pay the court the full amount in cash to be released.

    Trial is currently set for January 27, 2026.
