The Phoenix Police Department has identified Adalberto Cordova Torres as the suspect in homicides that happened on Nov. 24 and Nov. 29 in Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on November 11, 2025, officers responded to the area of 16200 North 1st Drive after a homeowner in the area woke up and found several bullet strikes to their residence. In additional to this, ballistic evidence was obtained from the scene. The Crime Gun Intelligence Unit (CGIU) processed this evidence through National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) as part of this case.
On November 24, 2025, officers responded to the area of 19th Avenue and Greenway Road regarding a shooting call. When officers arrived, they located 45-year-old Marcus Adams, with at least one gunshot wound. Adams did not survive and was pronounced deceased on scene. Homicide detectives responded and processed the crime scene. Part of this processing was collecting ballistic evidence, which in turn was processed by CGIU and entered into NIBIN.
On November 29, 2025, officers responded to the area of 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road regarding a shooting. When officers arrived, they located 29-year-old Andreas Samual Olguin with at least one gunshot wound. Olguin was pronounced deceased at the scene. Homicide detectives responded and processed the crime scene. Part of this processing was collecting ballistic evidence, which in turn was processed by CGIU and entered into NIBIN
Once the ballistic evidence from the three cases was fully processed, a correlation between the cases was found and all three cases were linked through this ballistic evidence. Case agents of all three cases began to work together in an attempt to identify the suspect.
This work paid off as a potential suspect was identified as 21-year-old Adalberto Cordova Torres. Additional evidence was matched linking Cordova Torres to each of the crime scenes which led to his arrested December 4, 2025.
A search of Cordova Torres’s home resulted in additional evidence linking him to each of the related crimes. He was booked into jail on multiple charges related to the three investigations, to include two counts of murder.
This remains an active investigation.
