A man is dead after he rear-ended a bus in Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, around 10:22 p.m., officers responded to the area of 30th Avenue and Van Buren Street regarding a collision involving a city bus. When officers arrived, they located an adult male in critical condition.
The Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene and transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Detectives believe that the adult male driver of the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Van Buren Street when he failed to control the speed of the vehicle and collided with the rear of the city bus. There were no injuries to the bus’s occupants.
