A woman, Geraldine Aboyte, who tried to sell over 1.5 pounds of fentanyl pills has been sentenced to less than three years in prison.
According to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, between April 1 and 2, 2025, in Pima County, Arizona, Aboyte attempted to knowingly sell approximately 1.6 pounds of fentanyl pills to a third party.
The Court sentenced Aboyte to 2.75 years of prison and ordered her to pay $4,500 to the State Anti-Racketeering Revolving Fund and $2,800 in investigation costs to the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Aboyte pled guilty to Attempt to Sell a Narcotic Drug, a class 3 felony.
