Two suspects have been indicted in connection with a Buckeye shooting earlier this month that left a pregnant girl, an unborn child and a newborn baby dead.
Michael Sanchez, age 18, has been indicted for a shooting in Buckeye that left a teen girl and two babies dead.
On May 14, Sanchez shot two pregnant teen girls and a young woman, killing his 16-year-old ex-girlfriend and her unborn baby. The injuries forced the other 17-year-old girl to deliver her baby early. The newborn died days later.
A grand jury indicted Sanchez on the following charges:
A second person is charged in the case for driving Sanchez away from the crime scene after the shooting and helping him hide. Antonio Tequida was indicted on one count of Hindering Prosecution in the First Degree, a Class Three Felony.
Sanchez is being held non-bondable. Tequida is currently in custody on a $100,000 cash bond.
