The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 46-year-old Jason Marchesano on a nationwide warrant for Attempted 2nd‑Degree Homicide, Kidnapping, and Aggravated Assault after a violent attack on his girlfriend in Paulden on October 28, 2025.

Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies learned Marchesano allegedly strangled and restrained the victim using bedding sheets inside a fifth‑wheel trailer at the property. She escaped and later reported the assault, and deputies documented bruising consistent with her account. The property owners confirmed an argument occurred. Later Detectives obtained a Search Warrant, allowing them to search the scene, where they recovered bedding and the victim’s ID.

Detectives worked multiple leads across Arizona and Nevada before receiving crucial information that Marchesano had traveled to California. Working with the local Law Enforcement, he was located and safely taken into custody at LEGOLAND in California.
