Suspects Indicted in Violent Home Invasion in Chandler

Three men, Jesus Sandoval, Jorge Jurado Martinez, and Kevin Tristan have been indicted for a home invasion in Chandler.

Sandoval and Jurado Martinez were also indicted for an armed robbery that happened beforehand.

According to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, on June 6, a rideshare driver was picking up passengers near Elliot Road and Arizona Avenue. They got into an argument, and the rideshare driver was hit with a gun and robbed.

Shortly after, Chandler Police received a call about a nearby home invasion. An elderly man was reportedly pistol-whipped, and his daughter was shot. Jurado Martinez and Tristan are charged as adults.

Sandoval and Jurado Martinez were indicted on the following charges:

  • Two counts of Armed Robbery, a Class Two Dangerous Felony
  • Two counts of Aggravated Robbery, a Class Three Dangerous Felony
  • Three counts of Aggravated Assault, a Class Three Dangerous Felony
  • One count of Burglary in the First Degree, a Class Two Dangerous Felony
  • Jurado Martinez is charged with an additional count of Misconduct Involving Weapons, a Class Four Felony.

    Tristan is charged with:

  • One count of Burglary in the First Degree, a Class Two Dangerous Felony
  • One count of Aggravated Robbery, a Class Three Dangerous Felony
  • Two counts of Aggravated Assault, a Class Three Dangerous Felony
  • Three other men — Pete Canez, Robert Rosas, and Anthony Rosas are accused of helping two of the home invasion suspects try to flee the country through the Southern Border.
    Each is charged with Hindering Prosecution in the First Degree, a Class Five Felony.
