Just last week, former congresswoman Gabby Giffords was strolling through a Tucson Target store when two wounded warriors, who she had helped in the past approached her to say hello. The ever-pleasant Giffords was reminded by her aide that she had helped the two men in the past. Giffords struggled to get the words out and said, “I love my veterans.”

What those two men know is that recovery from traumatic brain injury is a long road. Stress doesn’t help, and reminders of combat come back with little provocation.

So when the CNN released a story by Dana Bash showing Kelly conducting target practice causing his wife jump to at the sound of the gun blast, concerns about whether Kelly is consulting with a mental health professional about his use of his wife in his gun control stunts are raised once again.
