Pima County homeless woman decapitated after she was killed

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says that a homeless woman, Linda Grow, who was found killed on Tucson’s north side last April was decapitated.

Grow’s body was found April 10, 2013.

The Sheriff’s Department released the information in the hope that the public can provide information to help solve the cold case.

Chris Hogan, a homicide detective, reported that the 50-year-old Grow likely was decapitated after she was killed.

Hogan also says investigators suspect Grow was killed elsewhere and her body moved to a desert area across the street from Foothills Mall.

Grow was homeless and lived in the dessert near upscale neighborhoods in one of the many homeless camps.
