Suddenlink to invest $18 million more covering Northern Arizona

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. Following the century-link service interuption in early March between phoenix and Northern Arizona,  Suddenlink announced they expect to make approximately $18 million in capital investments this year in Arizona, and by the end of the year will have invested approximately $70 million since it began operating in the state in April 2011.

Suddenlink is the third-largest company of its kind in Arizona, offering cable TV, high- speed Internet, phone and other services.

“This year, in addition to our regular capital spending, we are making additional investments in the state as part of Operation GigaSpeed, through which we plan to deliver a 1 Gigabit service to various communities this year and others in the near future,” said Suddenlink Arizona Vice President of Operations Dan Spoelman.

In recent years, Suddenlink has rolled out increasingly faster Internet services, expanded its in-state fiber network, and, among other things, introduced options that allow customers to stream TV shows around the house wirelessly with their smart phone or tablet and also transfer digital video recordings to these devices.

Suddenlink serves approximately 74,000 households and more than 3,500 business customers in Arizona. Suddenlink-served communities in Arizona include Flagstaff, Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, Kingman, Parker, Sedona, Payson, Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Pine, Strawberry, Munds Park, Village of Oak Creek, Rim Rock and Lake Montezuma.
