Pima County Detectives Arrest Circle K Serial Robber

San Xavier Directed Patrol, executed a search warrant and arrested 18-year-old Angel Edward Fimbres Jr.

On Thursday, July 6, 2017, Robbery Assault detectives, along with detectives from the Community Problems Unit, Domestic Violence Unit, Burglary Unit, and San Xavier Directed Patrol, executed a search warrant and subsequently arrested 18-year-old Angel Edward Fimbres Jr. on two counts of armed robbery, one count of 3rd degree burglary, and one count of shoplifting.

Mr. Fimbres Jr. was identified by a deputy who recognized him from previous contacts, following a media release for a shoplifting call at a Circle K which occurred on May 1st. Mr. Fimbres Jr. is also believed to be the suspect in at least three other robberies/thefts at Circle K locations around southwest Tucson.

He has been booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Complex for his charges. Detectives are still seeking information on the female suspect from the theft which occurred on May 1st. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
