Identity Of Pima County Armed Robber Sought

On January 24, 2018, at approximately 3:40 p.m., Pima County deputies responded to the Circle K located at 5818 South Palo Verde Road for a report of an armed robbery. When deputies arrived, they discovered an unknown male suspect was waiting in line to purchase items. He became impatient with the clerk and produced a knife from his sweater, telling the clerk to hurry up. The suspect then took the items and left the store without paying for them.

The suspect is described as:

• Hispanic or Caucasian, in his 20s to 30s
• Weight is approximately 150 pounds and height is between 5’6” and 5’8”
• Last seen wearing a hat with a logo, black sweater with light-colored writing, blue jeans and tennis shoes.
• He is thought to live in the Palo Verde and Benson Highway area.

Robbery/Assault detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
