On June 5, Navajo County Sheriff’s Office deputies were notified that a missing abducted child, Indiana Tarter, age 1, was possibly in the Holbrook area by outside authorities. Upon conducting patrol in the area deputies located the suspect vehicle parked at a local hotel.

On May 1, 2018, the Circuit Court of Lonoke County Domestic Relations Division filed an Order granting custody of the 1 year old child to the biological father. The father has been unable to locate the mother, Heather Tarter. The Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office had entered the child into the National Criminal Information Center (NCIC) as missing.

The baby was turned over the Department of Child Safety in Flagstaff.
