Cocaine Smuggler Nabbed At Port Of Nogales

TUCSON – A 29-year-old man is in custody for attempting smuggle cocaine as he entered the U.S. from Mexico on Monday.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Port of Nogales referred the man for a secondary inspection of his Ford sedan. Officers discovered several packages of cocaine concealed in the backseat with an estimated street value of nearly $500,000.

Officers seized the drugs and vehicle.
