Oro Valley – Oro Valley Police are investigating a fatal 3 vehicle collision that occurred on August 21, 2019 at approximately 9:04 a.m. at the intersection of Tangerine Road and La Canada Drive.
An unidentified 85 year-old man, was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the same vehicle as the deceased man was an 85 year-old unidentified female. She was transported to Banner UMC with life threatening injures. She later succumbed to those injuries. Two other victims were transported with non-life threatening injuries, according to Oro Valley Police.
The Oro Valley Police Traffic Unit responded to investigate and drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor at this time.
