Vehicle Of Interest In Fatal Hit And Run Sought By Chandler Police

Chandler Police are looking for a vehicle of interest in connection with in fatal hit and run that occurred on August 16, 2019.

According to Chandler Police Detective Seth Tyler, around 6:15 a.m., a 68-year-old female was struck by an unknown make, dark-colored minivan as she crossed Ray Road near California Street. At the time of the collision, the victim was crossing Ray Road southbound and the minivan was traveling westbound in the far left lane of Ray Road. After the collision, the vehicle operator continued westbound on Ray Road.

The victim passed away on August 28, 2019.

According to Detective Tyler, just prior to the collision, surveillance cameras captured a dark colored minivan in the North Park Plaza parking lot located at 1004 North Arizona Avenue. This vehicle is missing the front driver’s side and rear passenger side hubcap. It appears the front passenger side window is being held up with duct tape.
