On Wednesday morning, just before 3:00, Pinal County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a burglary in progress on E. Desert Hills Rd. south of Florence. Persons of interest are 61-year-old Michael Anthony and 33-year-old Phillip Rice.
As responding deputies approached the address, the suspects were attempting to leave the area by car. The suspects rammed two deputies’ vehicles, and the second deputy fired at the suspects.
Two suspects fled the area on foot and are still outstanding.
One suspect appears to be a white male with long curly hair and facial hair, wearing glasses, a dark colored cap and jeans. The other appears to be a bald white male, wearing a long sleeve t-shirt with writing on the back and jeans.
They are considered armed and dangerous.
