Alleged Robber Killed By Target Of Crime At Phoenix Gas Station

A failed robber, 24-year-old Aaron Duwan Frazier Jr., is dead after the target of his intended robbery shot him.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, Frazier’s target was a man fueling up his vehicle at a gas station at 12th Street and Highland Avenue just before 6:30 p.m., on Saturday.

Frazier approached the man with a gun and attempted to rob him. The man went back to his vehicle grabbed a gun and shot Frazier. The man called police to report the incident.

Frazier was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

After detectives conducted interviews and collected evidence at the scene, the man was not booked into jail. The case will be reviewed
further for any possible charges.
