Two brothers, Jaimarion Miller and Davontai Greeney, are in jail following a weeks-long investigation into an armed robbery at a downtown convenience store that was caught on camera.

Just before 9 p.m. on Saturday, September 23rd, Buckeye police received a call of an armed robbery at the Chevron on Monroe Ave near 9th St. Officers learned two males wearing face masks had walked into the convenience store, pointed a gun at the attendant and demanded cash from the register. The suspects took off with an undisclosed amount of money before officers arrived. No one was hurt.

During the investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspects as the 19-year-old Miller and the 22-year-old Greeney.

On Thursday, Buckeye police, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service, arrested Miller at a home in Phoenix and Greeney at a home in Avondale. Both were booked into jail on multiple felony charges. The weapon used in the crime was recovered.
