Three Arrested In Connection With 2022 “Gilbert Goon” Assaults, Father Arrested For Drugs

Gilbert police have made three arrests in connection with the “Gilbert Goons” youth violence cases from 2022.

Kyle Renner, age 18, was arrested for the assault of a juvenile outside of a residence near Higley and Riggs Roads on November 22, 2022.

Renner, Gage Garrison, age 19, and a 17-year-old juvenile were also charged in connection with an assault on an adult victim, who reported to police that he was assaulted by a group in a parking garage near 72 West Vaughn Avenue on December 3, 2022.

Gilbert police also arrested Kyle’s father, 50-year-old Travis Renner, for drug-related charges after drugs were alleged to have been located during a search of his residence near the 2400 Block of East Toledo Street in Gilbert.

Kyler Renner (18) – Kyler Renner was arrested for two counts each of A.R.S. § 13-1204(A)(2) – Aggravated Assault and A.R.S. § 13-1204(A)(4) – Aggravated Assault. At the time of his arrest, Kyler was found to have evidence of A.R.S. § 13-3408(A)(1) – Possession of Narcotic Drugs and A.R.S. § 13-3415(A) – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Those charges will be pending lab analysis.

Gage Garrison (19) – Gage Garrison was arrested for A.R.S. § 13-1204(A)(2) – Aggravated Assault and A.R.S. § 13-1204(A)(4) – Aggravated Assault.

17-year-old juvenile – A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested for A.R.S. § 13-1204(A)(2) – Aggravated Assault and A.R.S. § 13-1204(A)(4) – Aggravated Assault.

Travis Renner (50) – Travis Renner was arrested for A.R.S. § 13-3407(A)(1) – Possession of Dangerous Drugs and A.R.S. § 13-3415(A) – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Kiara Holsapple (20) – Kiara Holsapple was arrested for A.R.S. § 13-3415(A) – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
