As winter settles in and temperatures drop, StepStone Family & Youth Services of Arizona is encouraging the community to provide warmth and comfort to foster youth in need through its annual “Wrapped in Love” blanket drive.
StepStone will be accepting donations of new and gently used blankets from January 31, 2024 through February 14, 2024, at locations across the state.
“At StepStone Family & Youth Services, we’re excited to host our annual blanket drive again this winter to wrap our foster children and teens in a warm blanket,” said Elisia Manuel, recruitment manager at StepStone Family & Youth Services. “Donating a blanket is a small way to make a big difference in their lives, and we encourage our community members to join us in donating blankets to our most vulnerable children.”
StepStone Family & Youth Services helps connect children in need with foster families who can provide comforting, nurturing homes. The organization has been serving Arizona for more than 25 years and provides foster care services, counseling, respite care, training for foster parents and youth residential services.
StepStone is always looking for new foster families willing to open their hearts and homes to help children in Arizona communities who need safe, caring living environments.
StepStone Family & Youth Services has operations in nine states and is organizing blanket drives at all its locations this winter.
