According to the Phoenix Police Department, on April 15, 2024, around 9:00 a.m., officers responded to the High City Smoke Shop at 83rd Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road regarding a shooting. When officers arrived, they located 38-year-old Daniel Kemp, with at least one gunshot wound.
