Born in Siena, Italy, Nico is an Italian-American professional basketball player known for his dynamic playmaking abilities. Raised in Phoenix, he stared at Pinnacle High School, leading the team to back-to-back state championships and earning national recognition as a McDonald’s All-American. He played his freshman year at the University of Arizona, averaging 14 points and 5 assists per game, and was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team. After being drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 2020, Mannion continued his career in top international leagues. A proud representative of Arizona basketball, he remains a role model for young athletes across the state and beyond.
