Phoenix Police detectives are investigating a south Phoenix shooting that left a man dead.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on October 30, 2025, at around 11:00 p.m., officers responded to the area of 41st Avenue and Tonto Street regarding a shots fired call. When officers arrived, they found 21-year-old Angel Rodriguez Tapia, with at least one gunshot wound. Tapia was pronounced deceased on scene.
Phoenix Police detectives are asking anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480(WITNESS) or 480(TESTIGO) and provide an anonymous tip. Rewards will be paid for information leading to an arrest in this case.
