Body Of Missing ASU Student Found at Grand Canyon

On Saturday, May 9, National Park Service personnel recovered the body of missing ASU student Sandarsh Krishna below the rim near Verkamp’s Visitor Center on the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park.

Krishna’s body was transported to the rim and transferred to the Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Krishna, age 26, had been reported missing on April 28, 2026.

The incident remains under investigation by the National Park Service and the Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office.
