On Wednesday May 3, 2017 the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office was advised that US Border Patrol agents found what appeared to be an unexploded ordinance off of Geronimo Trail east of Douglas.
The Cochise County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Technician responded today and safely transported the item to the Douglas Airport where it was detonated without any incident.
