Tucson Police blow up social media with “White Powder Investigation”

TUCSON — Tucson Police Department public information officers deployed their sense of humor Friday, setting off a social media frenzy with their “investigation into white powder.”

In less than 5 hours, the Facebook post garnered over 400,000 views, on Twitter the investigation earned over 1,000 retweets.

The Facebook post was shared far and wide, sending the post to viral levels.

    Why, to get away from that suspicious white powder is just exactly why many of us moved to Southern Arizona.
    Seriously, there really oughta be a law against that four-letter word, and it should never be allowed to be uttered in public.
    I mean, just what do we have police for?

  4. So glad out tax dollars are being used to promote Police State propaganda until they kill another American because they felt threatened.Next we’ll see videos of helping old ladies cross the street or getting kitty’s out of trees. Give me a break, the govt enforcers are not your friend.
