Phoenix Police Investigating Deadly Motorcycle Collision

Phoenix police detectives are investigating a fatal motorcycle collision in the area of 35th Avenue and Camelback Road that happened Tuesday night just before midnight.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, at about 11:55 p.m. on February 7, 2023, Phoenix police responded to a collision between a SUV and a motorcycle near 35th Avenue and Camelback Road. When officers got to the scene, they saw the motorcycle on the ground and the driver, 35-year-old Harry Snyder some distance away. Phoenix Fire Department responded to the area and took Mr. Snyder to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Detectives responded to take over the investigation and learned that the collision occurred when the motorcycle was driving southbound on 35th Avenue and the SUV was turning left into a commercial property. The driver for the SUV was evaluated for signs of impairment; however, no indications were reported.
