
Phoenix police are investigating a shooting that occurred late last night that left one-man dead at the scene and another man in the hospital.
According Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to a burglary call in a neighborhood off of 32nd and Govers Avenues just after 10:30 p.m. When officers arrived, they were directed by the caller to a nearby home with an opened door. Officers entered the home and found two men struck by gunfire. Officers were able to extract one of the men to the fire department, who were waiting nearby. The man was rushed to the hospital where he remains in stable condition.
The second man died from his injuries on scene.
The suspect left the area before police arrived.
