Phoenix Road Rage Incident Ends In Shooting

Phoenix detectives investigate road rage incident that left a 22-year-old man dead.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, on November 13, 2024, around 6:30 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the area of 2700 West Dunlap Avenue. As they arrived, officers located the victim, identified as Aramis Ross, suffering from a gunshot wound. The Phoenix Fire Department transported him to a nearby hospital where he was diagnosed with a non-survivable, catastrophic brain injury.

Homicide investigators believe that the victim and the suspect were involved in an extended road rage incident. After stopping in traffic near 2700 West Dunlap Avenue, the incident concluded with the suspect firing a gun and striking the victim. The suspect was detained a short time later after he notified police of his involvement.

The investigation is ongoing.
