Pima County Man Sentenced for Trafficking Fentanyl

A Pima County man, Steven Carrillo, was sentenced in Pima County Superior Court on April 20, 2026, to 9.75 years in prison.

According to the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, Carrillo pleaded guilty to Attempted Transportation for Sale of a Narcotic Drug (Class 3 felony), Possession of a Narcotic Drug for Sale (Class 2 felony), and Illegally Conducting an Enterprise (Class 3 felony).

Between April 3, 2024, and November 6, 2024, Carrillo operated a criminal enterprise that sold fentanyl, cocaine, and heroin on multiple occasions. Pursuant to a search warrant, law enforcement located significant quantities of fentanyl and cocaine, along with several scales and a money counter, inside Carrillo’s residence.

The court sentenced Carrillo to 9.75 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections, followed by three years of probation. The case was investigated by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
