An “Attempt to Locate” for U.S. Border Patrol has been issued. This prisoner escaped from a private contractor transport van Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. near SR 287 and SR 79 at the south end of downtown Florence, Arizona .
Edwin Lopez-Alvarez, 24-year-old, Hispanic male, wearing a green and black plaid shirt, described as 5’02”, /150#, with a medium complexion.
He was in custody as an undocumented-alien and being transported from Tucson Border Patrol to the ICE detention facility in Florence. He has no other criminal charges.
