A traffic stop turned into a drug bust Sunday night when Pinal County Sheriff’s deputies initiated a traffic stop near Schnepf Road and Combs Road for multiple equipment violations.
There were three adults and two juveniles in the vehicle. The investigation revealed the driver was impaired.
Inside the vehicle deputies found a Colt air soft BB Gun that resembled a real firearm, 1800 grams of THC edibles, vapor wax, BHO, raw Marijuana,and a small amount of cash.
The driver was processed for DUI and booked. One of the other adult passengers was also charged with possession of drugs and possession with the intent to sell. That passenger also had an outstanding warrant.
