A man found shot to death early Friday morning in north Phoenix has been identified as 18-year-old Joshua Carter.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, on October 20, 2023, just after 3:00 a.m., officers responded to a shooting investigation where Carter was found in the roadway in the area of 17800 North 19th Avenue shot to death. He was pronounced deceased on scene by Phoenix Fire personnel.
Detectives are asking anyone with information that can lead detectives to an arrest in this violent crime to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS / 480-TESTIGO. All callers will remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward.
